On Wednesday, May 5, 2004, the CME Board of Directors approved a one-fourth reduction in Clearing, GLOBEX® and Block fees for all CME Weather products. The fee reduction is retroactive to March 8, 2004 for CDD contracts, and April 12th for HDD contracts, when the contract size was officially reduced by one-fifth.
